General Motors UK Special Vehicles unveiled today the Police Vauxhall Insignia which will equip the British force. The Police Vauxhall Insignia is based on the Sports Tourer model and is powered by the 2.0-litre CDTi diesel engine with 160PS, or a 2.8-litre 260PS petrol engine or a 2.0-litre 220PS turbo engine. The 2.8-litre version of the Police Vauxhall Insignia is also equipped with all-wheel-drive.
The Police Vauxhall Insignia features all the trade's gadgets, including Mobile Data Terminal (MDT) cameras, Automatic Numberplate Recognition (ANPR) system, roof lightbar with 360 blues, side alley lamps, sirens and full comms radio equipment.
