It doesn’t take much to get me fired up. For instance, seeing this Unimog rescue vehicle that Hemmings Nation Flickr pool member Bluejacket recently posted, that’ll have me bouncing in my seat like a third-grader for the rest of the afternoon. From the tags, it looks like he spotted the ‘Mog in Castine, Maine.
Hugo90, besides posting scans of very unusual foreign car brochures, posted this photo from about 1982, when the owner of Winnie Hogg Dodge died, leaving these older Mopars to go up for auction. Should probably investigate that location for our Lost Dealerships series.
Does this 1979 Scout prototype look familiar? If you’re a longtime blog reader, it should – Litwin spotted it last year at the ACD Museum, and now we see that papafiesta spotted it there too.
Finally, new Hemmings Nation Flickr pool member sheribuch711 posted some photos of the family’s new 1971 Nova, here posed next to their 1962 Impala. Much like a ‘Mog, posting pics of a 1971 Nova will almost always grab my attention.
